Last time I went to the doctor he extolled the virtues of vitamin D. Low vitamin D leads to heart disease and cancer. Ten minutes in the sun, without sun screen and wearing a tank top and shorts can produce about 10,000 International Units of vitamin D. The other alternatives for getting vitamin D are eating oily fish, drinking lots of milk and taking pills. Me, I would rather go sailing in my shorts and t-shirt.

Absorbing vitamin D and relaxing

It seems as though just over a week ago I was in and out of the North Fork of the Virgin River in Zion National Park.
